Prince of persia assassin's creed odyssey12/27/2022 Ghost has a story that isn't anything revolutionary, but they absolutely nailed what they set out to do. The story in Assassin's Creed hasn't felt like it was written and implemented with a clear vision from the beginning to end since Black Flag/Rogue. The only AC games who could compare artystyle-wise with Ghost are not among the last 3 of them, though Origins sure does have its moments. Sucker Punch created a better melee combat system in their first melee combat game than Ubisoft managed to make across 5 Prince of Persia games and THIRTEEN Assassin's Creed games, and somehow managed to make it worse from Origins to Odyssey to Valhalla. Teenage me watching Rurouni Kenshin would flip if he saw a game like Ghost of Tsushima back in 2000. Ghost of Tsushima wins based on its art design, the fact it doesn't take over 100 hours to fully explore and because even though it has a lot of inspiration from Assassin's Creed, i prefer its setting and combat is just something Assassin's Creed will never be good at at this point (prove me wrong Ubisoft). That said.i'm an old, grown up adult with limited time to play games. Ghost of Tsushima will never have all the lore, exploring, world building, varied side-quests that we do have on Assassin's Creed. Ubisoft's team is HUGE in comparison to Sucker Punch. Ghost of Tsushima is at a disadvantage here, specially considering it's to be compared with the latest 3 AC games, IMO. Assassin's Creed, like most franchises took a while to perfect its formula and hit its peak. Ghost of Tsushima only had its first entry. I don't think it's fair to compare for multiple reasons:
